When you share stories on People of Cornwall:

- You grant us a license to display and share your stories on the platform

- You agree that your stories may be reviewed before publication
Photographs and Images
When uploading photographs or images to People of Cornwall:
- Ownership: You confirm that you own the image, have explicit permission from the photographer/copyright holder, or the image is in the public domain
- People in photos: If identifiable individuals appear in your photos, you should have their permission to share the image publicly
- Attribution: Where possible, please credit the photographer or source of historical images using the attribution field provided
- Family archives: We welcome historical family photographs — these help preserve Cornwall's living memory
- License granted: By uploading images, you grant People of Cornwall a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the images as part of your story
- Removal: You may request removal of your images at any time by contacting us or deleting your story
Please note: We do not claim ownership of your photographs. Your images remain your property, and we only display them in connection with your story.
Community Guidelines
To maintain a respectful community, please:
- Share authentic stories from Cornwall or about Cornish experiences
- Be respectful of others in comments and interactions
- Do not share content that is harmful, hateful, or illegal
- Do not impersonate others or share false information
Moderation
All stories are reviewed by our team before publication. We reserve the right to:
- Reject stories that don't meet our guidelines
- Request edits before publication
- Remove content that violates these terms
- Suspend accounts that repeatedly violate guidelines

The People of Cornwall platform, including its design and features, is protected by copyright. You may not copy or reproduce the platform without permission.
